October 28, 2005 —
CCHL Alumnus Scores for Ice Dogs.
University of Georgia forward and CCHL
alumnus Robbie Steiner scored two goals and nearly had a rare single-shift hat
trick last week against Florida State. In the third period of the
October 22nd game, Steiner scored at 14:34, 14:54, and just missed at 15:04. Read

AAU Junior Olympic Games Results.
The list of
all final scores and awards is available at the AAU hockey web site. We
also have a list of the scores of
just the CCHL games.
- The CCHL 8U team took the 8U competitive division silver.
- The CCHL 10U team took the 10U recreational division silver.
- The CCHL 12U team took the 12U competitive division bronze.
- The CCHL fielded two 16U teams. They took the 16U recreational division gold
and the 16U competitive division silver.
- The CCHL 18U team took the 18U competitive division silver.
- The CCHL Men's Silver division team took the bronze medal.
- In the 18U International division, Team Major with CCHL skaters
Clark Alsfeld and Corey Rougelot took the division gold.
- In the 10U Skills Contest, CCHL goalkeeper Andrew Parmet won the
Top Goalie award, and CCHL skater John Schroeder won the Hardest
Shot award with a 50 mph slap shot. CCHL skater Devin Morrill
took second in the Breakaway Contest.
- Congratulations to our 6U All-American Players, Marc Alvendia
and Maddie Leger, and to all the CCHL All-Tournament Players:

Tournament Games Complete.
Many thanks to all who participated and made the the AAU Junior Olympic
Games a success: The players, coaches, parents, and particularly
the volunteers, many of whom made suite 212 at the Morial Convention
Center their second home. Volunteers who went
beyond the call include Lorelei and Kenneth Schaefer, Elizabeth LeGros,
Stacey Beaulieu, Liz and D.J. Hackett, Steve and Paula McCreary, Mary Ellen Leger, Ann
Perkins, Mary Hicks, Connie Brown, Joni Savoye, and Laurie Joachim. We apologize
in advance to those we left off this list. It was a lot of time,
work, and lost sleep, but the CCHL has never looked better.

CCHL Travel Teams Place at 2Hot4Ice.
Congratulations to the CCHL 8U Travel Team for winning gold in the 2Hot4Ice Classic
July 17th in Gulfport! 8U players Jeremy Brown
won the Points Leader, Will Allen the Top Goalie, and Nathan Teed the Deebs Young Award. Congratulations also to
the 10U and 16U Travel Teams for winning silver. 10U goalkeeper
Cole Tarzetti won the Deebs Young Award for her division. See all

July 2, 2005 —
Steamy South Independence Day Classic. The roster
and schedule are
available. The cookout will be at the Harrison County
Skate Park Saturday, July 2, from 5:00-7:30 p.m. The bonfire will
be Saturday across from Edgewater Mall at 8:00 p.m. The menu
includes Pulled Pork Sandwiches and Hot Dogs with sides of beans and cole
slaw. The tournament has been compacted into one day to
accommodate family time on Sunday and the Fourth.
June 26, 2005 —
Travel 8U, 16U Take Silver at AAU Regional.
The 8U and 16U travel teams won silver
at the June 24-26 AAU Regional Tournament in Lafayette.

June 13, 2005 —
CCHL Skater to Represent U.S. at World
Championships.
Clark Alsfeld has been selected by USA Roller Sports to play with Team
USA 18U Major, one of the two 18U teams that are part of the 2005 Team
USA Junior Prospects. This team will represent the U.S. at the
USARS World Championships in Detroit July 18-24 and will complete in the
AAU Junior Olympic Games International Division July 27-30 here in New
Orleans. We have
