2006 Metro Middle School League Rules

USA Hockey Rules Apply

3 minute warm up.
2--16 minute period- running clock.
Stop clock in last 2 minutes (if the score differential is within 1 point.)
2-minute half-time.
1-minute time-out (1 per team per game.)
If a team has ONLY 5 Players (1 Goalie and 4 Skaters) that team will be given 2 Time-outs per period.
Regular season games may end in a tie.
Play-off games tied after regulation will have a 3 minute 3-on-3 O.T.
If it is still tied after O.T. then a 3 player shootout continuing until a winner is determined.
