The CCHL is a developmental in-line roller hockey league. Inline hockey is one of America's fastest growing participation sports with plenty of scoring.  Climate control at our home rink provides a perfect setting to enjoy the sport. Equal play allows every child to learn at their own pace without the pressure of winning.  It is a low-time commitment sport with just a one hour game on a weekend morning and a one hour clinic Wednesday evening.

We are a "no checking" league and rules of play are a minimum. There is some incidental contact, so protective gear is required.  We have an equipment provider, Chuck Thuss of Southern Sports Supply for all your hockey needs.

We have three age divisions: 8U, 12U, 14U, and 19U.  All divisions have both boys and girls.

We have a fall season that runs from September to December, and a spring season that runs from January to May.  Games are played on alternating Saturday and Sunday mornings between 7:30 AM and 12:30 PM.  Our instructional practice clinics on Wednesdays are for the 8U, 10U, and 12U divisions and are from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM.  Former professional hockey players and our All Star coaching staff run these clinics.

For more opportunities to play, we sponsor a spring and summer travel program, a high school league, and the metro middle school league for grades 4 to 7.
 
Fall Season 2007

Registration fee for returning a player is $250 (includes insurance).

  • Take $25 off for each sibling.
  • New players to the league get a one-time $100 discount.
  • The season begins in September and the championships are in December 2006.
  • Five Age Divisions: 8U, 12U, 14U, and 19U (Note: Enrollment in all age divisions is limited)
  • All games are played at Airline Skate Center located at 6711 Airline Dr. in Metairie.  See our contact information for a map.
  • Games are played Saturday and Sunday mornings 7:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
  • The CCHL is an Equal-Pay-Equal-Play organization for the regular season games. During the playoffs the coaches may coach-to-win. The playoff games are the last 4-6 six weeks of the season depending on the age division.
  • Fees include a team jersey, one game per weekend and one instructional clinic per week. The instructional clinics are only for the 8U, 10U and 12U age divisions.
  • Sponsor a team or bring in a sponsor and receive $50 off the registration fee. Sponsor’s name is printed on the team jersey. Team sponsor fee is $240. We always need team sponsors. Sponsor fees are tax-deductible.
  • Age cutoff date will be determined after registration is complete.
  • Crescent City Hockey League is a Louisiana non-profit corporation.
